CAF snubs Nigeria for 2023 National Team of the Year award
CAF snubs Nigeria for 2023 National Team of the Year award – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has left out Nigeria from the shortlist of nominees for National Team of the Year.
The list was published on CAF’s official website on Wednesday morning. A panel of CAF Technical Experts, African Football Legends and selected media representatives from a number of countries put together the preliminary list for the various categories.
Some of the countries selected include Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Morocco and Senegal.
The winner will be announced at an Awards Gala scheduled for December 11, 2023 in Marrakech, Morocco.
