How To Collect Your LAG-ID List Of collection Centres And Dates – Are you a resident of Lagos State? Do you register with the Lagos State Residents’ Registration Agency (LASRRA) for the LAG-ID? If your answer is yes, then we have important information for you. This article will show you how to collect the Identity card for your identification as a registered Lagos State resident. This is to notify all residents that the Lagos State Residents’ Registration Agency (LASRRA) has begun distributing the LAG-ID Card across the State. It is important that you collect your card and get it activated.

Why You Need To Get LAG-ID

  • Identifies the number and placement of hospitals, schools, libraries and books needed in the State and the number of teachers, doctors and nurses required
    to meet the needs of the populace.
  • Ensures that the Agricultural Strategies of Lagos State Government meet the needs and demands of the residents of the State.
  • Facilitates better traffic management, when the numbers of potential commuters are known and helps determine the most appropriate transportation system suitable for different parts of the State such as rail, buses, cars, ferries.
  • Enables the State Government to classify
    neighborhoods within the State and determine the population thresholds for certain facilities and utilities provided by the State.
  • Also help analyze and identify areas for urban regeneration and actions to be taken.
  • Enables the Ministry of Health to assess the different health needs of different parts of the State.

For residents WHO HAVE RECEIVED SMS messages for collection, the Agency will be present at the under-listed Local Governments (LGs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) as scheduled:

  • 4th – 7th October 2023Agbado-Oke Odo, Ifako Ijaiye, Ojokoro
  • 10th – 13th October 2023Agege, Orile Agege, Ikeja, Ojodu, Onigbongbo
  • 17th – 20th October, Ikotun, Igando, Alimosho, Alimosho 2, Egbeda, Oshodi-Isolo.
  • 24th – 27th OctoberMushin, Odi-Olowo, Isolo
  • 31st October – 3rd November 2023, Ayobo-Ipaja, Mosan Okunola, Egbe Idimu, Ejigbo.

Please, If you miss these dates, you can collect your cards from the Registration Officers in these LGs/ LCDAs.
