Introduction

Haruna Abdullahi popularly known as Dj Abba is a Nigerian rapper, singer, Songwriter and producer. DJ ABBA also refereed to as “DJ AB” is the first child of his mum and the forth child of his father with 17 siblings.

Early

He is exceptionally good and obviously gifted, Dj ab is an artiste signed under the imprint of ‘Yaran North Side Entertainment Company’, A company jointly owned, “YNS Studios” is located in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

It was Established as a family Venture and now it has different partners and collaborators spread across the country. Dj Ab has no doubt been one of the fastest rising rappers in the north since.

Education

DJ AB was born and raised in Kaduna, He attended the Federal Government College (FGC) in Kaduna. Amazingly, His music career couldn’t stop him from studying either. Dj Ab is studying for his BSc “quantity survey” in Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria.

According to Dj Ab It has always been his dream to make music, not just any type of music but good music that would be appreciated. So while studying, Ab was still doing music and going to shows.

While growing up DJ AB started making beats in addition to recording vocal references, Dj Ab, Jigsaws, Likre, Teeswag, Aimskid, and other close affiliate formed The YNS (Yaran north side). He started writing songs when he was 14 years old and started recording few years after.

His career has been a growing one, He started from the scratch and we’re glad to see what he is becoming. Dj Ab has performed at the KADAFEST 2015 on the same stage with the likes of 9ice, Morell, Yemi Alade, Olu Maintain, MI, 2 baba, Patoranking and lots more.

Today DJ AB is one of the highly rated artist in the northern part of Nigeria, In 2021 he released his smash hit single title Supa Supa EP featuring Mr Eazi off Dj AB Album titled Supa,
